It may be good for you. With rumors about Sept, and the state TD has been in for a while, it may be smart for all of us who are spared today to start looking for other opportunities. We’re all past the point where tying ourselves to this place is beneficial for any of us. I sincerely hope I get laid off, whether I’ve secured another job or not. I’ve had enough.

I know about one SrVp, another VP and a Director in the US got the boot from GTM this week.
@1pfq+1tqL5Lcr Since when is stating a fact or what was sent via email so annoying to you that you had to make a book li---r comment. For goodness sakes get a grip. If you want to preach your grim reaper suff have at it. I guess that is all that is wanted on this site - negativity and doom. I guess I should have known that facts were not a part of the plan for this audience.
I am getting tired of the "retired" statement during layoffs. Occasionally it is true but 99% of the time it was a forced retirement!
@1mvn+1tqL5Lcr How do those boots taste? Several VPs "choose" to retire and units are aligned for better communication? Give me a break.
They did some consolidation so that we are all aligned globally by vertical to promote communication and sharing. A few VPs chose to retire, a few positions were eliminated. New org chart came out immediately showing the new leadership of the vertical units. Several units were untouched.
@1mfu+1tqL5Lcr- guess that was the last employee in the US.
I am only aware of 1 individual in the US
The RIF's today have only cemented those in my team to update their resumes and hope for a severance package. We are effectively in a standoff where those with long tenure's aren't going to just up and leave. They will make Teradata pay for a departure. In the meantime the RIF"s only serve to further demoralise the team which results in less work being done
I think the number in the US was single digits. sounds like a whole lot of rumors and very little RIF….
Did anyone actually got laid off? Seems pretty silent
