Thread regarding General Atomics layoffs

GA is where my heart is

It’s honestly better than most defense contractors in terms of work life balance.
That’s a fantastic benefit of working at GA.

GA doesn’t finish a lot of contracts on time nor on budget. But it really doesn’t matter what race or gender … almost all GA project manager are below par. So the few good PMs GA has they should take care of but sadly I can say they do not promote sticky in performance and that is why many people leave the company. But if you are older or not use to working 40 hours a week GA will take care of you as long as one falls in line

That is simply a lie! GA is never on budget! That is one of the reason why GA cannot sun contracts! There are only 10% of managers that on constantly on budget and delivery on time. You are lying and I don’t know why you would lie when proving you are lying is so simple! But the point is GA will promote diversity even if the company looses money!

@1mkx, buzz off.

I’ve seen plenty people regardless of their age, gender and skin color who are always on budget, always finish a project early and have the highest margins on each project forced to wait for advancement bc they are not well connected.

GA looks at more than performance and bottom line. GA values other attributes and that’s what makes it a good employer. I have seen women advance that have high turn over and never being a project in budget. I have seen minorities advance that never finish a project on time and always loose the company money! I have seen white men who are always on budget, always finish a project early and have the highest margins on each project forced to wait for advancement bc it’s only fair! If you are only looking for bottom line or to only be promoted by your work output GA is not for you! GA looks at all factors and embraces diversity! Company profits aren’t everything
