Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

Here we go again.😒

Another Commscope FU to the employees. While Big Dawgs are getting million dollar raises, they continue to take away from those of us actually working. Just finishing with our 3 day paychecks and now they are taking a day away from us for the next few weeks. Who really knows how long. I wish there was a way we could take a lawsuit out against those getting the million dollar raises. They cut out our cafeteria, cut our military, anniversary and Christmas dinners, cut matching 401K for 1/2 year so they can get those ug bonuses. It's not just Chuck, it's Bob and Rob as well.

You sound like someone with a senior title within the company, looking through rose-tinted glasses. There is nothing from CommScope to suggest that things could turn for the better in the next year. There is no plan, no innovation, nothing. They cannot think nor see beyond the next quarter. That is the state they are in.

It may be that you have Stockholm Syndrome and are hanging on to any little bit of hope things work out for the company.

For that to happen, you need decent hardworking people and people who believe in the business. When you consider all that has been stripped away over the past two years now, you look at the people who have left. Mostly, it is the real go-getters, the people who know that their time there is up. Those people have been pro-active in seeking a new opportunity.

Take it from someone who has left as well, the grass most certainly can be greener. Unfortunately it takes someone brave enough to make that change and leave what was once a great company.

I believe everything will turnaround going into 2025, especially with the bead program. Like someone mentioned before, if you don’t like it, find another place to work. Grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

And the people with anything about them have gone already. There is no stopping this rot.

Know of some very good IT people who have left the business in past couple of years alone. Of course, none of these have been replaced.

The IT bonus was simply Insulting considering all the unpaid overtime that was required in last 15 months.
It's all to get employees to walk...
