Beckers just released an article today which reports the EEOC is suing United over the firing of a remote employee due to not getting the vaccine. Anyone who was wrongly terminated should jump on this and do the same to recoup lost wages.

Apparently, the anti-vaxxer commentor doesn't do any research.
Except my job has nothing to do with patients. I worked on the corporate side and when I got the job it wasn't a requirement until they sprung it on you. If it was I wouldn't have bothered working there to begin with. I have left the health care industry behind now.
Anti-vaxxers don't belong at a health care company. Not understanding science is ridiculous.
They cannot force a vaccine on you. It's against the law. Besides, this isn't technically a vaccine. It was an mRNA experimental treatment. If they fired you, they may have saved your life. I'd join the lawsuit. Many are getting back pay.

This is specifically about a 100% remote employee, which makes sense. Not a "free for all."
I used to work for United from July 2021- May 2022 and was terminated for not taking this shot. I don't regret it though especially since I work somewhere else now. So this is nice to hear.
