One of the first questions another employer asks a laid off Boeing employee is "Do you still have recall rights?. If the answer is yes, you are not getting hired. Because they know as soon as Boeing calls them they will leave. Other employers only get burnt so many times.
You can down vote, but it is the truth. I used to be a hiring manager at another local machine shop. Ex Boeing with recall rights were persona non grata.
