There are 7 Sears Hometowns in PR, according to their FB page (use translate to read some of the comments, if you don't Know Spanish).
So while it is correct, what people wrote, that there is only 1 FULL-LINE Sears in PR, there are 7 Sears Hometown stores currently, which is not an insignificant number. So it seems Sears' name will be around for some Time, on the island:

@1zsj+1d4hi4aR OK, I should have been more specific. I was referring to buildings that have the Sears name on them, that are also active stores. Apparently, in PR, there are 7 (active) Sears Hometowns, 1 regular Sears, and 1 non-Hometown small format Sears, of some other kind, as well as 1 active Kmart, which is in the parking lot of the regular full-line Sears. Said Kmart also has a pharmacy. I think that about covers our tour of Puerto Rico.
@1goh+1d4hi4aR - If you are counting buildings with the Sears name still on them your count is way off. The Sears sign is still on our building which closed 4/11/2020. The Kmart sign was still on one of ours for about 2-3 years after it was closed.
@hgq+1d4hi4aR Who was looking to be taught this lesson? The person who posted @csv+1d4hi4aR , that's who. I'm going to keep rectifying posts where people conveniently forget or ignore that 100's of Sears Hometowns still exist. So while there might be about 19 FULL LINE Sears in the country, let it be 100% crystal clear that this is not the total number of buildings that bear the "Sears" name in this country. There are several 100's of Sears Hometowns, and any list that lacks them, will be reminded of the fact that they exist. Sears Hometowns are but another form of Sears.

How do you Know what "people" are interested in? I, and any retail enthusiast I Know, are interested in ANY AND ALL Sears properties, including Sears Hometowns, which many on this site, conveniently seem to ignore. Bud Light is technically a type of Budweiser.
Not regular Bud, but still a type of Bud. Whopper junior is still a type of Whopper. Sears Hometowns are a type of Sears. Until and unless every freaking Sears hometown is eliminated, it is incorrect to claim Sears is out of business in a given jurisdiction. There are about 7 Sears Hometowns in Puerto Rico. Every Time someone claims "there is only 1 Sears in XYZ state", while conveniently ignoring hometowns in Said state, I WILL call them out on it. There are 100's of Sears Hometowns in the US, and I will forever continue to call out and correct, anyone who ignores them. They are here. Count them, or be called out. By ME.
So who was looking to be taught a lesson? There is 1 full-line Sears store left & 1 Kmart in PR. Those remaining stores are about the only thing people are interested in watching dwindle on this site........but thanks for the big enlightenment.
@csv+1d4hi4aR Obviously y'all can't "easily" find it, because people keep posting misinformation about how many Sears are left. Someone posted a list which had only 1 small format Sears in PR, and 1 full line. That is wrong. This thread is trying to Educate the misinformed (best case scenario), or the ignorant (worst case scenario).

Sears answered:
"Sears Humacao no cerrara y hay otras 6 tiendas que tampoco vam a cerrar."
(Sears Humacao won't close and there are 6 other stores that we're not closing either.)
That means, 7 Hometowns (at least as of last February).
So if you count 7 Sears Hometowns, 1 full Sears, and that 1 weird Sears in Nanjanito (or however it's spelled), it appears that 9 stores in the island, still bear the name of Sears on them. Also 1 Kmart. Lesson over.
Ok, so what is this thread trying to tell us here? I think we all can easily find out how many full line, hometown, home & life, and Kmart stores are left anywhere in the country or the territories. So...........?
Where are you finding the list of seven Hometown stores? I see nine listed here:

However, that page also lists many full-sized Sears stores that have closed, so I don't know how reliable it still is.
There is also the tiny Naranjito store, which is not called a Hometown, Home & Life, or Appliance store, but is that size:
