Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

CCIC at it again?

They cut me in 2002 one month before my daughter was due. As an RF Engineer I tried to explain to them that the carriers have their own engineers and that marketing the towers to them wouldn't work. They already knew where they needed towers. I emphasized that our efforts would be best spent by getting towers, (often disguised as flagpoles, church steeples, palm trees, etc.) through the zoning process before anyone else did. Deaf ears.

For what it's worth, old timer, I said the same thing when they were investing big in data science and all kids of other buzz words to do the same thing, in 2020. It didn't work, and that was one of the first things cut when the rifs started.

@OP you are on all of these posts complaining like some old veteran at the Legion talking about how ‘nam messed with your head and the gov’ment isn’t take care of you because your SSDI isn’t enough to pay your bills while you down drink after drink and smoke 2 packs of ciggies a day.

Get on with your life, boomer. You’re irrelevant.

No, it was the heyday, 2002. I don't hold a grudge, I just happened to stumble across the news and remembered not only CCIC's behavior towards employees, but every carrier as well. One exception was Bellsouth before it got pulled back into AT&T.

I’m assuming you mean 2022, otherwise 24 years is a really long time to hold a grudge.
