Back in Spring, a manager at UIS when asked to comment on that Bloomberg article about Exxon falling from grace responded: “It’s not news.”
The report documented the bad decisions and leadership failures for over a decade, which led to the current state of affairs.
She further said: “You’d expect a buy/sell recommendation on the stock, but it doesn’t even have that”.
Well - how do you like it now, Ms. Manager? Is this newsworthy enough? Is the stock recommendation clear now?
Management is so dense and hard of hearing - they ignore all warning signals. Who do they think they are fooling?
They probably have a solid short position and they are pushing their own agenda here
@itv+16Ipa3vH They had been right during the last call to sell at 60.. you guys only like good news eh..
Very detailed, quantitative comparison by sector. Demonstrates value creation is hampered in all areas.
Wow - it can’t be more clear #winning
Gotta say - this article summarizes some very deep and complex areas of O&G specifically from an ExxonMobil perspective.
It's like XOM had a facebrook page announcing all its failures - and was tracked!
Opening pic of the CEO is quite flattering.
The last mannekin at the Lord and Taylor.
Sold my positions.. nothing new..
In 08, they did this: https://www.cnbc.com/2010/04/27/goldman-fends-off-charges-it-sold-rigged-deals-to-clients.html
GS was one of the culprits of the 2008 economic turmoil....sure, let’s take their word.
This is good news , GS typically does the opposite of whatever they declare publicly.
