I’m shocked at the list of those moving to Houston. People who keep saying they aren’t leaving PA have already committed, I’m told by a reliable BS friend. Shocked.

I was a T3 and between salary, OT, and bonus I made 120. It's easy to do.
After Elliot has CC restructure the incentives for leadership, I bet a few of those people are going to regret signing the relocation package.
@abvb, if AMT and SBA aren't our peers and our competition, who is?
@6rto is the reason Crown had to let so many people go.
Who even says “worker bees” ?
Probably same dinosaur who says our peers are SBA and AMT. lolol.
Maybe stop trying to sneak up----t pics of the leaders program ladies and do some real work.
Yeah. We see you.
Account managers in sales (5s) were pulling in 120k a year 10 years ago. That's a fact. Not all but maybe 20%. Think about that and then start calculating up to managers and directors. Then think about what they're willing to do to keep jobs that basically only really require PowerPoint and corp speak. Many have no other experience or education that would allow them to move on. They're happy to put them blame for failure on others. No "the buck stops here". Add in they're all related. BS built a Snake pit.
Dude! I’m a director still here and pulling $400k annually. It’s all how you negotiate.
Sadly, that is the part of the business where they need to clean house. Good luck with that.
Between bonus, RSU and annual salary, I know of M1's that pull in 150k. So it is entirely possible for a director to pull 250k. No doubt about it.
It’s an absolute joke-the managers, directors with no real experience other than crown and barely a hs diploma. Crown needs to let go of all those old id--ts and hire cheap, fresh outta college minds. Enhance the emerging leaders program! That’s the only way to save this dinosaur of a failing company.
Directors absolutely make $250. Some managers do too!
Your math is as bad as your work ethic!
I bought 500 shares when it was down at 86 a share. I just sold it all yesterday and made almost 9000 profit in a matter of weeks and I didn’t spend more than 39 minutes executing the trades. I’d say Crown performed well for me.
Astros4Eva - the kind of person who’d be happy with a 2% return because “it went up” when the rest of the market is up 8%
Amt and sba are both up higher % so I hardly think it has to do with Southpointe. Maybe you should bone up on how markets work a bit.
Purple power! Look at our shares go!
Analysts saw the good in shedding the dead weight of the old folks’ homes in Southpointe, Charlotte, VA.
The issue at Crown has always been the opposite. People promoted to the point of failure in the same silo. We have always needed more outside experience, rather than people who did the job.
Because some people are getting promotions or raises
Exactly and when people are hired from outside who know better via experience they are stone walled. Been that way all the way back to 2010 if not longer. It's ingrained in the culture of the long timers. They're threatened by experience and they all band together. There fav tactic is to refuse to share info and if that doesn't work they attack personalities. They go and go and go until person breaks and ends up quitting or being fired.
Considering most of these key leaders lack experience outside of Crown, that's not a surprise.
There are no “key” leaders left. All that remains are micromanaging a**holes with no brains.
The iorny of the term leaders for crown castle managers is as laughable today as it has ever been. Crown has fantastic delegating managers but there are very, very few leaders in that sh-t box.
Unfortunately a lot of the leaders have never done the job. A HUGE problem of Crown. They are absolutely clueless on the amount of work and time that goes into the job and everything seems simple to them. They couldn’t train themselves, let alone a new person. That would be humorous to watch. They shouldn’t even be offering the relocation to the leaders, they are the fat that needs cut out.
I hope a lot of “people leaders” (fuq corporate speak haha) stay… it’ll be spectacular to watch them all crash and burn without ic’s to carry all their water and/or blame for all their mistakes. So many mid management people are going to actually have to work… or eventually get fired without the package when they show how unskilled they’ve been behind the purple propaganda wall.
They also underestimate the power of this site and others like GD. I have seen no sour grapes post lately on GD, just an honest opinion on the descent of Crown. Applicants are reading the reviews and thinking, hmm, maybe its not a good idea to start working for a company that treats it's employees so poorly. There have been applications pulled back. Sooo, good luck replacing the worker bees because no one wants to work here anymore. Sad but true.
Key leaders make more than others. Of course they’d move. They can afford a nice home in Bridgeland or the villages and commute a few times per week. It’s the people who are below them that suffer.
Not all but some, all things considered. Absolute fact.
Directors do not make $250k plus lol
The directors, etc. may move, but they won't have enough worker bees to train said worker bees' replacements by end of Q1. The bees are already leaving the hive and walking away from the severance. Tenure is so low in the company, on average, it's not worth staying. Mid-level management at Crown is incompetent and bloated; it can't possibly replace all the lost knowledge. The avalanche is starting. Should be interesting by mid-December.
Well throw some initials and departments out. I'm not surprised at directors and higher. When you're making $250k and up your choices start getting limited. Plus many couldn't find a job in another company due to skills. Not at the rates they're paid. Some have never had another job. Being a great bs'er doesn't really translate to most businesses. If managers are going, that would surprise me. I'd never go to Houston unless it was the only option.
