Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Caring About The People

Can we all agree that when you are a union officer its all about the members and making it right for them. How then can an ex-301 officer seeks $ damages for himself. I support his right to do so but it's so revealing, its all about HIM!

“GE negotiated in good faith”…the investigation will reveal if the union and company negotiated in good faith or not. None of us have the means or ability to make that determination. The federal agents do and have been working on that, among other things, for years. The only thing I will agree to is policies that were negotiated in good faith, per results of the current investigation, remain. Policies negotiated with one side having an unfair advantage or any type of quid pro quo be deemed void and re-negotiated. If the ex BA, ex Plant Manager, and others did their jobs correctly and fairly there will be nothing to worry about in regard to policies, including the CA.

You see this issue 100% different that I do, they can all go to jail I don’t care but GE negotiated in good faith with them so all agree TD and policies must stand. I’m sure you agree!

Hey, kisses and hugs, you’re still completely clueless. It leads me to believe someone is feeding you BS. Or you’re full of BS and praying you’re right hoping to save your own a$$. Either way, you make it clear that you have no idea what happened to the particular person you speak of. You also make it clear that you have no idea what this investigation is about, why it started, how it started, or exactly what the investigators are looking at. And that’s because you aren’t supposed to know!! It’s a federal criminal investigation, the investigators aren’t even obligated to be truthful! Your small mind obviously can’t comprehend how complicated and big this got over 3 years. The investigators follow a lead, they find something, they look into it, then find something worse, and the pattern continues. Criminal investigations do not stay open and active for 3 years for nothing. This is so much bigger than any ridiculous policy. Just stop with the policy sh-t. If you can’t see that nobody gives a damn about any specific policy by now, because it’s much bigger than that, you’re never going to. Wait until the investigation is complete. You’ll know it all then. Courage is speaking out when things are wrong even if you’re the only one speaking. Funny thing is, once that particular person you speak of started talking, others couldn’t wait to line up and talk. There’s a lot of “snitches” that don’t like their union reps stealing their money while lying in bed with the company. A lot of “snitches” have been sitting on a lot of information that they’ve been waiting to give to someone that will actually do something. This was their chance. When corruption is as deep as it got in good old Schenectady there aren’t many other options.

So embarrassed for the lack of courage of these snitches. What exactly, is it policy wise they'd like change, absent and answer you know it's just about them! Their motto, GIVE ME SOME MONEY.

Let me broker a settlement right now: ex-Asst BA gets reinstalled, drops all complaints and works for free! That should work as all he cares about is making it right for the members.

Kisses and hugs :-)

What “deal” needs fixed?

As far as being all about “himself”, what makes it any different than the perpetual nepotism at the hall other than changing the “him” to “ la familia”. The same names have been at the hall forever, passing the corruption to the next generation. It’s time to change the direction and get rid of all of them.

What kind of bologna is this? The folks who have the audacity to steal our money is who thinks it’s all about THEM. Not the one who tried to stop it and then got steamrolled. WTF. I don’t know about the one suing but I certainly hope what gets fixed is that union and company are no longer in bed together. The union needs to start working for US, not the company. I hope the thieves that stole our money and used it for themselves have to give it back and then I hope they spend some time caged in a cell where they belong. I hope the one suing gets what he rightfully deserves for being the only one to actually call this sh-t out and do something about it. Everyone else knows and talks but does nothing.

There are reasons and they have nothing to do with selfishness. It will make sense soon. Things were done to harm him because he didn’t go along with the corruption and he defended the membership against the sh-t that was going on between the company and union, particularly the ex BA and ex Plant Manager (notice those 2 are no longer in their positions). It was worse than most know because there was a big cover up. Only a select few know what really happened and best believe we’ve been more than happy to talk to the investigators. Taking people out of their positions and trying to hide what was done doesn’t make the problem go away and it doesn’t fix what they did. There’s a current criminal investigation that will bring the truth out, neither the company nor union will be able to keep it hidden for much longer. I believe a lot of members are going to change their opinion about many that we once trusted once the truth comes out.
