I’m fairly sure that I’m on the chopping block for this week, so preparing myself. For those that got their notices, is severance in line with what’s on Sparq?

I'm a leader in Spec. Benefits, and was laid off along side a member of my team yesterday. No one was told in advance, I had to tell my boss myself. It's company wide, all sorts of areas. Additional layoffs today, other areas.
Just what in the world is 100X?
We were just told in a meeting that 10-15% of UHG will be cut this year.

Mosher’s team is going to be dismantled on 8/3
Over 50% of the C&S Clinical Strategy team was laid off (including me) also heard that National Quality, Clinical Operations, and Marketing teams were also impacted. It almost looks random on who lost their jobs.
Highly doubt 40% Optum cut is accurate.
What location was the telesales dept laid off?
I've heard rumors of 40% cut coming for optum. Spanning multiple areas.
Optum had layoffs today across the people team/Talent
Layoff here….and surprisingly I don’t feel a way. Severance package is SH---Y of course. Definitely curious of the reasoning as I have been there for 10 years with a couple of peers on my team who haven’t even been with the company a year yet and there jobs weren’t at stake; seems PRETTY DAMN RANDOM. I was on the UHC side. Hoping for another position soon. crosses fingers
M&R West Region (UHC) had ar least 22 lay offs today. Me included.

Are any layoffs coming to RCM/TES for optum?
I was laid off today, along with many others on my team. 3 year recruiter with OptumRX. My manager seemed sick about it. I know of at least 5 recruiters who work on physicians and on the provider side who also go let go today.
Myself and dozens of others I know in TA (talent acquisition/recruiting) for Optum and UHG let go today. We were all high performers with some of best KPIs and NPS scores of our peers. I am a recruiter. Been here for years and getting a lousy severance. YAY. I just got a new job so was planning on quitting tomorrow. I do feel for my friends in TA who are some of the best while they kept the low performers.
Just personally heard from 3 of my colleagues via text in my dept and 4 from the previous dept I used to be in that they where just laid off today. (All UHC). Optum supposedly is holding off until next Thursday-ish for their layoffs.
So many living paycheck to paycheck and right before school starts. Absolutely terrible.
Who else can confirm from a valid source, not from what was already posted on this site, that today 7/27 is UHC layoffs and 8/3 is Optum layoffs?
If these layoffs could be done 100x style and quickly that’d be great. And while they are at it just layoff all stateside workers and move the workforce fully to India, Ireland, and Philippines. So they stop beating around the bush on it due to them having horrible budget issues and can’t afford to cap out their executives pay/stakeholder return.
Telesales, marketing, med supp, MCNA all on uhc side had cuts today. Not sure on numbers

It is happening now. I was laid off from UHC.

Commercial case and disease management under Nate has all the signals of having a layoff
I've also heard segments of Optum IT have pushed to August and will no longer occur today. Not sure if it's ALL segments; but there is still some cloud around specific areas (namely formerly Optum Labs and the merged groups with Optum Tech) where I've heard they will still be occurring today.
Optum IT - Nothing hard confirmed, but I heard a rumor that there's another reorg coming and today's layoffs are getting pushed back to August. We'll see if it's true. No idea what's happening elsewhere in the company.

Just realized, after telling some one else lay offs happen on Thursday’s….. that my boss moved my 1x1 from Tuesday to Thursday. Agh.. we shall see
