Literally just watched an unbelievably talented and extremely loyal American who has been screwed over more than her fair share get passed over for a promotion for the 5th time in 5 years. What the actual fu-k is it with this company and Americans? These managers hate them and I don't know why??

Juniper tries hard to run away from the American values that made them possible. They are eating themselves in the process. Getting smaller and smaller.
To "It's unfortunate to not feel psychologically safe": No.
but
I'm about to blow the whistle on everyone who used dumps and all of those secretly collaborated with topologies from JNCIEs with q/a's from their combined experiences of tests, that climbed their way to promotion heaven to get their way to the top of.
I'm SICK of the lack of integrity people have for themselves because of all of these types of people, you sc--w the genuine ones over. What they don't realize is that for every time a dump is used or these types of collabs happen, you make it impossible for the genuine people who want to do things the authentic and RIGHT way.

- 1 Exam Fraud. Exam fraud includes any action or attempt by an individual or group of individuals to influence the testing process through cheating, collusion, and/or copying exam questions. exam.
You're all going down.
@1kaj+1bCRiH8E: Thanks for sharing your experience.
I've been told this since the last 3 years:
"Your work is fantastic and we've given you the top rating. Keep on doing what you're doing and you'll reach the next level in no time"
Unfortunately there's no visibility in the promotion/performance-management system. It helps to know that I'm not the only one who's had this experience with their management. It also helps to know what kind of fake reasons are being given to our peers.
PS: South Asian female here.
Either this original post is L I T E R A L L Y about me (thank you for your empathy!), or the poster knows other female who has been promised a promo every year, for exactly 5 years, who continues to get screwed. Enough is enough. Categorically, I outperform my peers --management does not deny this.
Now, if only I was so brave as to share the reasons why I've been told from 2 VPs (here!) the reasons "why" I continue to be "overlooked".... You would F L I P.
I’m in one of the field teams. We have a good ratio of Asian and American folks (all men though). Haven’t observed any preferential treatment.
Are you in engineering? There are way too many stories of the ‘Indian mafia’ in engineering circles.
