With the rumors of manager cuts or forced relocations, I’m sure everyone has noticed that the managers are being very cut throat. Things like trying to make other managers look bad or trying to get employees fired, just to put a feather in their white hat so that when upper management has to make decisions as to who stays and goes, they shine above the others. I have personally witnessed this week managers ganging up on older employees just so they can find a reason to pull them out of service and have seen others employees pulled into the office one at a time to be drilled and threatened with discipline to get them to snitch on other employees. It’s sad to see what PSR has done to the work environment of this company.

Steam shop guy s-xually harassed women and still has a job, not sure Union Pacific would care about a manager doing anything, in fact they would probably encourage it.
If say 2 or more agreement employees are willing to stop taking sh– and stand up for themselves, forget your Union, forget the company eeo, you all need to secure an attorney and file a civil suit against manager who is harrasing you. The company finds this out they wont touch the manager with a 10 foot pole and get rid of him real quick. Use your heads agreement. Let the management see just how much the company cares for them. Its go time, tell managment if your comin on, CMON!
@1kad You misspelled “douchebag”. Thanks again for being the example of everything that’s wrong with UP for the people on this thread.
Maybe you should quit your job at UP and become a poet. I think you have the potential.
I'm actually currently in a very steamy love affair with my Manager. We've promised not to tell our wives but, the way he Man Handles me is amazing. He has a beautiful AngleСоск. He just loves to вigноӀе ме.

I don’t think employees mind working u douchbag!! But employees do not need the extra nonsense from the managers which know nothing about doing the job...No one will feel bad when UP cuts some of these managers!!
@OP That sounds like a typical day at UP. Hostility, confrontation, bureaucracy, dysfunction,...it’s all baked into the cake. The only solution is to move on.
@xws Thanks for being an example of everything that’s wrong with UP, and for providing a “coaching opportunity” on how not to be a douchebag to people on the internet.
Doesn’t sound like anything new. Where have you been all this time? Lol
Sounds like just another regular day at UP.
The managers have always been like that, some more so than others, but i agree PSR has made it about four times worse.
Make you wonder if a hostile work place charge could be filed. They wondered why people were/are leaving on medical for things right before and after layoffs started. This toxic culture has to change just wondering when it will. These managers would be wise to remember that what goes around comes around and when the current glass palace leaders finally leave they will be held accountable by those left behind in the crafts
If you don’t like the railroad find another place to work. It is a shame that the UP asks you to actually work when you are there.
Awful place to work. Glad I resigned.
