Thread regarding Integris Health Edmond layoffs

Stack Ranking

After the Jan 2030 layoffs were announced publicly, what wasn't announced is the non-clinical departments that are undergoing outsourcing selectively.

New IT leadership is hitting rock bottom under Bill Hudson though he came in an talked through a good game, then hired unqualified Stacy Stika as the CISO and put her in charge of technologist. We are literally doing Stacy Stika's because she is a 'people manager'. She even created a director job for a friend she brought on board.

The atmosphere is toxic because we can't go to HR considering the CIO and CISO are friends. So they are busy stack-ranking people out of jobs which isn't reported to media outlets.

Accountability please for the serious technology issues that are being ignored because the technology VPs are just interested in collecting a paycheck.

Glad that Bill Hudson is no longer in healthcare, such poor judgement doesn't belong where lives are concerned.

@ poster 1nxca+1pls7nF6 how are you going to blame technology for management failings? Does Integris has 'special' software they use? I worked with Stacy at JMH, she is not technical, she was brought over from the clinical side as a Epic account admin. When they made her manager of the team all she did was drag our architect around to answer all questions. We are glad she is gone. Seriously though, no technologist is going to believe out dated technology is the problem.

Integris health IT was beyond a sh-t show before Bill and Stacy were hired on. The technology at Integris was a sneeze away from completely failing. Years of poor leadership and maintenance caused the failures. It’s easy to blame the person in the position they are in now, but it takes time and money to correct past bad decisions.

Anon poster @1jygj+1pls7nF6 what do you mean 'she was put in that position?' I would like to know more since my children's data and the rest of my family is part of the breach.
If she isn't making technology decisions, why was she hired? Technology does protect us and I want people in charge of my data who know how to use technology in the best way.

To Anonymous poster @1jygj+1pls7nF6, @1jyfg+1pls7nF6 - take a deep breath and read the posts again.
No attacs, just sincere concernes. There isn’t a single personal remark aimed at execs discused, only their work competencies and work connections commented. In fact, the only derogatory language used was yours.

Not to mention that calling any professional on earth a “young lady”.is pretty offensive.

How in the world are you blaming this young lady for layoffs 6 years in the future? That seems like a stretch for even all powerful CISO the likes of Mrs. Stika.

I love the fact that people aren't afraid to attack someone when their post is anonymous. To those of you attacking this young lady...do you even know her? Have you worked with her? If so, put your name on your post and let's discuss it.
I do work with her on a daily basis and I find her to be a great CISO and an even better person. She supports her staff in every way she can, while holding them accountable to do what is needed to keep things moving forward.
She hasn't been making the technology decisions. She was put in that role to try and help get it out of the gutter. She's paying the price for other decisions that were made before she ever took over that space. Give her a chance.
These things happen somewhere every single day. Why single her out? Why attack someone you don't really know? And if you do, put on your big girls pa-ties and talk to her, instead of anonymously doing it in a public forum without using your own name. Geesh, have a little humanity and compassion...and stop kicking people when they're down.

When all employees had to change their passwords about a month ago that is an indicator of utter failure from the involved leaders.

I would not frequent a hospital that employed someone with a non-tech background as their CISO. Now 2mil patients data is public not private.

Well don’t think you have to worry about Bill Hudson being there anymore after this latest breach. I doubt any CISO will still be there as well. Honestly with all the outages after going with TM/HCI and losing talented and well trained staff where breaches and outages didn’t happen, if I was the board it would be time to let the CEO go. Without a golden parachute package either. It all started there.
