Exploring Interest in Unionizing – Your Thoughts?

What a rough week. I've been thinking about the collective voice we have as employees and the potential benefits of forming a union.

I'm curious to know if any of you have considered the idea of unionizing and your thoughts on it. This is a topic that requires careful consideration and many may not have the energy but if there's a solid core of us we could start taking on the work.

I have some experience with this, learned some lessons the hard way and can help with connections and organizing - but only if there's at least ~30 of us that show initial interest.

given the financial condition and outlook for this company, a union might just drive a stake into its heart. Y'all need to focus on basics and getting profitable (not distracted by unions). It will be hard but you can do it, you have an impressive cadre of partners. i know this post will be down voted but trust me, you CAN turn this business around with the right leaders and culture.

Anyone suggesting a union has no idea how a union actually works. Also 10 points to Gryffindor for the Norma Rae reference lol

Calm down, Norma Rae. Arguing about raises ain't gonna help anyone when the house is on fire. Look for a new job.

@1jpo+1qDtIFi6 No disrespect intended, but unionizing is a waste of time & effort. The stock price has been under $1 since jan 9. Clock runs out on feb 8.

You’re on a sinking ship. A union won’t save you from a failing business. Get out as soon as you can.

The company is on the verge of collapse, focus on getting applications out to a new job.
