It is really tough on those of who give 100 percent and somehow it is still not enough. Any tips from veteran Apache's would be welcome.

Recruiters reach out to any warm body with a job title that fits their search so don't base anything on that!! If you are involved in a project and don't put in a 100% effort you are only doing yourself a disservice.....may the best of every opportunity you have or give up!! Coasting is for people who don't much pride!!
@1jnc+1dArI0OH… true but maybe some people are content with their careers and aren’t looking to become managers, VP’s, etc. I know quite a few of them. I do have to disagree on gaining experience though… projects will still come and I guess my point is more about doing the projects that come up to gain the experience but not going above and beyond and try to be involved in everything. I’ve still gained valuable experience while doing minimal work, have even had recruiters reach out to me, I just don’t break my back for the company.
Except it's doing nothing for your career progression. Coasting is all well and good but years will fly by and you will have gained no actual experience during that time.
@uys+1dArI0OH…. Exactly this… enjoy the easy paycheck and put in minimal work. No point in putting in maximum effort when nobody else does and the executives don’t care what the employees want. Do just enough so that you don’t get in trouble, get that paycheck, bonus, and stock and coast just like everybody else.
Look for another job, or just ride it out and enjoy the paycheck and benefits, and stop caring about the company and the office.
If you stick around in the hopes that it will get better, you will end up SEVERELY disappointed.
Pray for inner strength!
