Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

So... let me get this straight...

Intel is going to rely on TSMC, who has their hands full with who-the-heck-knows-how-many-other-customers-are-out-there (the announcement mentions who are the first to sign up, not who ARE the customers... there's a big difference) to produce their bread-and-butter money printing products- overpriced, ASP-jacked-sky-high, server chips.

What could possibly go wrong with this strategy to lead as a manufacturer? Nothing, amirite?

TSMC can handle the added load, their automation capabilities far exceed Intel who has failed to modernize. Update TMG or be abolished to select government contracts.

After how LTD lied to the rest of the company and world and did it again with 7nm, you need more than a backup plan, you need a real plan as LTD is a total cess pool and FUBAR of koolaid drinkers and walking failures

@1iyc+1bEcRgHH uhhh yeah, "rely" on TMG for processes that are not as cutting-edge. Does that sound awesome to you?

FYI the plan is to rely on TSMC and TMG at the same time, it's not an situation where Intel will be using just TSMC
