I was, and I wanted it badly. I’m hearing a lot of folks were rejected (can’t claim it’s true, just heard about it many times already and can see it on boards). I’ve been here for ten years, just wanted my payout and to be done with Intel forever. I have other options lined up, nothing fancy, but I don’t want to work here anymore, and I don’t want to leave for free after ten years of working my a-s off for this, turns out, joke of a company.

Bingo!
VSP rejections should have come with a promotion if the people are so important to the org.
Hi HR! Come on man everyone knows that is not true. That’s the silly boiler plate they are feeding us. But look at who got accepted…. Come on you are better then this
Update your resume.
Get a new job and move on.
VSPs were rejected based on business needs. i.e. they would be lost without your skills and experience, of course they won't say it like that because they would end up having to reward you
Yes please please please prepare and do not assume you will get a package.
All about cost - in some markets the severances are like winning the lottery…. And Intel doesn’t have lottery cash … double bubble if you happened to marry another employee (amazingly common) … talk to the folks in Germany , I hear the majority of their VSP was rejected …
Man HR working over time on your reply. They really don’t truth out there. Truth sometimes hurts. But definitely trying to silence that message. Maybe they want it to be a big surprise on the 15th! SURPRISE you get nothing!! What really will happen is they will spin it by saying we told you you just weren’t paying attention. Which is a lie - mixed messages
Do nothing, go sick a lot, don't meet targets or deadlines set by your manager and reapply for the next one coming soon to a Fab near you !
Must su-k to su-k. I got mine and will be starting a new job after a short vacation
Costs are less if you quit. They want some portion just to quit.
They can afford them. They can’t afford to pay all those packages. So they will get denied and then “isp” or laid off with no packages. It’s a budget thing. People will reply to this post -oh they said or oh the pinky swore involuntary will get the same exact packages. They won’t. It’s the same as getting fired. Don’t get me wrong a few will get packages but the vast majority will be terminated and get nothing. Cost savings
They know you will leave on your own anyways, so why would they pay you?
You’re doing something vital that’s why
Did you see the poast on the board earlier about loud quitting?
