I left until 2024 and was on cobra and coverages until end of last year paid by intel. But this year I actually changed company and insurance too but until still they sent me health insurance ID cards from Providence health plan collective health. Has this happened to somebody else as well. When I called them, they said you’re no longer enrolled because you’re not an employee so you shouldn’t be getting it, but the insurance company doesn’t deny it and they say I have an active plan with them. I’m not sure who pays the premium and how.

Fu--ing su-ks di-k. They wont just mail prescriptions without a bunch of extra steps. You get put on hold. Every item requires you to make another account somewhere and do a sh-t ton more work. Most of the time this involves hours long phone calls with clueless people probably working from their home not paying attention. They really make you handle all thebleg work and dont give clear instructions. Kaiser was way better. They took care of all this stuff. This is the worst lowest bidder type sh-t for routine stuff. Maybe the coverage is OK for major illness.
Call 1800mybens, thats hr key help line. even as layoff or retired intel employer they will help. Speaking from experience.
The providence plan hired a 3rd party company to take care of their claims. New cards went out with new ID numbers at the begging of the year. This may be what you are experiencing
This is a LAYOFF site, not HR Benefits. Irrelevant comment. Leave now.
WTF? Really? Seek medical help using one of these 2 plans.
Use at your own risk.
Why even ask a question about this, as you claim to have gotten on with some other company?
Is this an alcohol related incident?
