Those saying it’s just a flu don’t really deserve a response, I’ll make a general comment. They’re mo–ns who have nothing better to do than rile people up with stupid comments.
55,000 and growing deaths in 3 months isn’t just a flu. The flu k–ls under that in a year.
The economy, the general fear of it wouldn’t have gotten this out of control for a damn flu.
@1tvx Just over two months and 55,000 Americans have died... Reportedly. Many have gone unconfirmed.
Stupid thought....had been watching the nfl draft these past few days one thing I realized while also looking at some pics of the last home game of the Seattle Dragons (don’t laugh it was fun cheap entertainment)...just in these past 2 1/2 or so months, there’s been enough lives lost to just about fill CenturyLink.
This maybe be a wasted comment to y’all but if you’ve ever been there for a Seahawks game when it’s full, it’s awesome....but then ya think of the lives lost and it puts things into another perspective. Rather shocking.
@1xds+14EhxDn7 Thanks for sharing. I honestly appreciate it. You guys are right about keeping this civilized. Sometimes negativity is better off ignored and responding to it only causes more confusion and drama, so I'm sorry about that.

An add-on to the subject of this OP. I don’t normally comment on any of these but I feel the need.
Multiple tests have shown people to not have this virus when dr’s were certain they did. I’m not some conspiracy theorist. My mother’s best friend died last Monday after 2 tests showed she didn’t have it. This was after being told initially she needed to wait to show more “signs” before being admitted to a hospital. She was f—ing sick.
I understand that hospitals are cautious, hospitals are still overwhelmed, and this could’ve been a rare case of a test being wrong. But it was 2.
She was tested a 4th time while on a ventilator after a ER doctor demanded it. Her daughter is left with angry, emptiness and questions of what happened along with not being able to be there while her mother passed. Her daughter is my wife.
Take this virus seriously. Please.
Save snide comments for some of other time.
How did this thread turn into a chest puffing contest? I’m not sure who did what or whatever... kinda hard to follow it but not my concern
How about we get back to the the topic of this thread. It’s more important.
We all have different opinions and have the right to voice them. Might not agree with each but keep it civil. Start a different thread if you wanna weed out jokers or people that wanna fight.
@eoq+14EhxDn7 Thanks for the kind response.
@acv+14EhxDn7 And I agree with you. I know it’s
About more than just family concerns and have read into this virus. I have a family member that is at high risk so I have to be just as cautious for them as myself. I’m in good health, am in my 30’s but I taking this serious.
I just meant that it was nice to see people doing the right thing for their family situation and encouraging all to try to be as safe as they can for all around them.
Some much is unknown. We learn that all of us can be affected, not just the elderly or poor of health. And we don’t know the long term affects, the chances of contracting it again....heck even animals getting it.
That’s all.
FOX...F— Off Xenophobic
@ors+14EhxDn7 I agree with you, but this isn't just about family concerns. If you read the article and do further research you will learn that we are all at risk. The impact of this virus has yet to be concluded. So it's about you, your family, your friends, your co-workers, and every other person you come in contact with.
I'm willing to bet most of these downvotes are coming from white collar Boeing employees safely working from the comfort of their home.
To the ones with family concerns and family first, bless you guys and much respect
It’s as simple as mentioned by several others. The easiest thing to do is throw a mask on and even some gloves. If you can stay home, do it. If you can’t, just play it safe.
If you do or don’t think it’s that serious, you can’t argue with over 50,000 dying in just under 3 months. On average less die from the flu.....in a year.
It s—s we have to argue over a facts or health concerns. Just don’t be stubborn or selfish. With others around who choose to be safe and your not, it shows a lack of decency. Just my opinion....if it’s wrong...it’s my right to have it.
Maybe these managers get paid to come on here and troll people.
This site needs more moderation. People are really copying and pasting comments lol. Not just on the same thread, but on different ones. How narcissistic can you guys be? Give it a rest.
At this point in the pandemic, there is not enough evidence about the effectiveness of antibody-mediated immunity to guarantee the accuracy of an “immunity passport” or “risk-free certificate.” People who assume that they are immune to a second infection because they have received a positive test result may ignore public health advice.
@xan+14EhxDn7 I respect your response and decision to choose family first man. I’m somewhat in the same position with our son with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Precautions are taken extremely serious. While we are lucky to have him home right now, and it is THE only and most important choice for us....
Everyone does have a choice. Just be smart about it. As previously said, it takes no effort to wear a few protective items.
In reading past posts, concerns and gripes...We can’t control what boeing does regarding it being open, closed or if it has the right PPE or cleaning supplies. You can control what you do. So whether you go to work, stay home, go anymore...there are others out there that would appreciate doing the basic decent thing of the mask, gloves...regardless if your believe the threat is real or not.
Be safe all and sorry for long post.
Home sweet home. No place like home.
It’s very much real. I’ve been worried for my wife who is in treatment for cancer and myself with severe asthma. As well as 2 children.
But her brother who’s 35 now has the virus and is pretty damn sick. And he’s extremely healthy otherwise.
It takes no effort to take care of yourself by following simple rules of masks, gloves, washing hands, staying home as much as you can. We all have bills to pay, food to buy/eat...we’re all bored being couped up at home.
I support those that want to go back to work. And I support those that stay home. I’d love to be able to go back to work. But family comes first.
It’s 2 choices. Be safe either way whatever your choice please.

Still think your not putting yourselves and others at risk?
