I don’t know why anyone (bar top) would want to stay with Intel these days. The only thing that still keeps me here is the bad job market, and I don’t want to make any rushed decisions because the situation is as bad and frustrating as it is. Most of us are demoralized and anxious, and not only because of what’s been happening with Intel for the past year. If I had other viable options, I would leave.

Collected paycheck since August 1st...why not continue until next August while dust clears. Less taxes if layoffs come again in Feb or July.
You still get paid twice a month. A lot of people are going to realize how important that is in the next few months.
The bad and worst managers stay in Intel forever, because they do not have any skills, except talk and cheat!
I enjoy my job and working with my peers. I like my boss and he appreciates my work. The job market also su-ks and as a non-exempt, I would take a pay cut anywhere else. Also <10 years from retirement and don't want to start over as the FNG somewhere else.
You drank the kool-aide !
No one wants to hire you?
I was here for the free bananas. Now I’m just here because I’ll be full remote after they close the office. The project I’m working on su-ks so I really don’t care anymore. I’m too old to get hired anywhere else. Cheers.

Immediate co-workers and management.
They are a pleasure to work with and make all the other bs tolerable.
Not all groups in Intel are the same.
Most of us are not demoralized and anxious. Just the cry babies who have never gone through any hard in their life. Just quit already - your fragile mental health is at stake.
No choice no one else will hire former Intel employees!
Bad job market or not, I'd suggest looking for another role. It'll give you the opportunity to meet new people, network, get outside of the industry, practice interivewing and so forth. You're participating in your career. If you don't find anything, and then Intel ISPs you then you're where you would have been anyway. Don't let Intel define your employment opportunities.
