Historical profit game

It’s 2 weeks to YE. Does anyone know if there are planned layoffs to impact / benefit Q1 earning announcement?

VERPS dead weight? Not from my experience. A lot of them were top performing employees if not all of them. You can try to convince yourself that ADP only lays off incompetents but that is far from being true.

And I worked for ADP for almost 30 years and have now retired. Like the other similar poster, I am enjoying life fully and am no longer glued to an ADP laptop or desktop for umpteen hours a day. I now have plenty of time to post here what I want and no one can tell me what to say or not to say

I’m very well compensated for my job and enjoy my work. I’m very well positioned for the next phase of my life in the event I move on. Large in part to my drive to keep myself relevant and part of course to ADP.

You VERPS were dead weight, remember you posted the doom after you all left, I do. We’ve so moved past you but thanks for your years of contributions dear.

@1hz I guess unlike you I still have friends who work there. Don’t be hating because I got a great package and I’m enjoying life while you are still tether to big Red. Keep worrying about the end of fiscal year. Sooner or later you’ll have the same outcome. Just keep telling yourself it’s all performance related.

THIS round was performance related, never mentioned the previous 40 years, mercy.

If it worked out for you, enjoying life why are you fixated on reading up, posting and general creeping on this site ? Hmmmmm

You miss us.

@1hw I was the same. Never had a review below “exceeds expectations”, was with the company for over 20 years. Getting laid off for me, was not performance related, rather one change in management. Worked out for me, I’m enjoying life.

@b7 I can attest as a previous leader of people who never had one year below ‘exceeds expectations’ and was subsequently laid off. It’s not always performance related.

Multiple layoff segments already this week. Additional impacts expected. The only thing dependable about ADP at this point is yearly layoffs and SVPs repeating the same mistakes.

At some point leadership should look at the lack of success of VP and up and make some meaningful changes - rather than continue to lose talent due to the mismanagement.

Minimal reductions for sure this year, performance related as well from the small group.

@1es were they all tenured and homeshored?

Not hearing much at all about layoffs, unless you have something to add to a comment about one area migrating to India it doesn’t seem to be significant.

Don’t pat yourself on the back yet.

Well, I was the original poster, and sadly I was right. To all who read this, or commented thinking a disgruntled employee must be behind it, I’m not. I am just someone who has been around the block to know the typical cycles corporations do l, especially in uncertain times. Those laid off this week will be off the books by end of Q1, allowing for a forward forecast of financial positivity.

Departments are getting moved to India slowly and surely. Get out now while you still can! Being safe today doesn’t mean being safe tomorrow. I beg you, look elsewhere

Well the, I’d like to complain about the complainers on this sight that should just leave the company and take their enormous talents elsewhere. What better way to show that lousy ADP?

Lol! This is a "complaint" site. Complaining is the name of the game. If ADP was a good company to work for then the comments here would be far different. Simple as that.

Hard to get new jobs right now. Have to take what you can get or enter a holding pattern even with a sc-mmy company. Jobs don't grow on trees.

No word on Layoffs has reached my department. Just the annual / normal June 30 retirement announcements. Would be nice to not lose people one year. The last few cuts were deep and have been painful to cover.

Performance hasn't got much to do with being laid off at ADP. I worked for almost three decades there and have seen very competent people get laid off regularly. As for lower performers, management doesn't wait for layoffs - they get terminated quickly.

Love the previous insulting reply. As though that poster had a crystal ball to know everything. Lol!

Curious, do you want to be laid off? Just asking because there’s mainly two types of people that comment, those that appreciate their job and those that rip ADP to shreds yet remain and complain.

No word on layoffs but safe bet its typical 3-5% of the lower performers.

Good luck.
