people at the very top have decided that Hughes will lose a ton of employees. Every team will be affected ~66% reduction all around. It is speculated to happen on 1st Oct but could be anywhere between then and 15th Oct.

I heard many woke employees were fired. Complaints were the woke were just giving angry glances at everyone in the lunchroom

I was Laid off today in Germantown …at least there is a severance package. This round seems to be more based on financials (which business unit is profitable)… rather than low performance

At this point, anyone choosing to stay at this company is making a mistake. Once the job market improves, it’s best to move on

I got it on Friday. 11 years. I come in at 6am. Leave at 5:30pm. I Managed 7 different process improvements all complete without any major hiccups
They took out some of the better paid folks like me. I have two interviews this week
