@1hqv+15GqVgdT How about Macy's pay a good salary. Most citizens have better places to work that actually care about their employees LOL.
I bet you are a H1B holder.
Also Naveen has no interest in actually advancing Macys.

“A detailed analysis of current data has concluded that as of [September 30, 2019], the H-1B authorized-to-work population is approximately 583,420,” according to the new USCIS report. “All aliens included in this number are nonimmigrants who have received authorization from USCIS and the Department of State (if applicable) to work in an H-1B specialty occupation.”

There are more than 350,000 Indian professionals (as of November 2019) with approved I-140 petitions (and another 357,000 dependents) waiting in the employment-based green card backlog, along with about 38,000 Chinese and 5,000 Filipino professionals.

New Delhi: Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has informed Parliament that Indians have received between 67% to 72% of the total H-1B visas issued by the U.S. in the last five fiscal years and that no comprehensive changes have been made to the U.S. H-1B visa programme so far.

Ive been at this a long time... the biggest issue i find is: Americans don't want to pay retail prices driven up because the workers behind the scenes are American( and receive much higher wages). I wish this wasn't the case but it is. People say they want american but if it costs more you can mostly forget it.

That is a really racist remark. Trust me If Macy’s could find as such skilled people in that trade they would not be paying for h1b’s. I don’t see many people in Atlanta qualifies which they are also backing out on their office downtown. Naveen wanted to offshore it all anyway. So which is better H1B or offshore it all cuz the CTO doesn’t even know how to code? Ironically

H1B - The H1B visa classification permits a foreign national to work in the United States for a temporary period.

Basically it lets companies bring in low quality workers under the guise of "skilled" labor that couldn't be found in the united states.

At Macy's they do this in the technology and IT departments.
All the developers are indians on H1Bs, all the IT folks are indians on H1Bs.
