Haven’t heard about one since last month, any new weekly updates? They are coming regular now, Thanks team Stankey!

Is the announcement for craft going to be on the 14th since the 15th is on a Saturday?
June 15 is a regular layoff announcement date for Craft. I am in District 3---any rumors?
Remaining employees will finally have to step up and work full time hours.
The previously stated goal is to get to less than 80,000 in headcount…. total, inclusive of all locations worldwide.
Look at the shareholder/investor relation and report information on the AT&T public site for all the info. All presentations are there
The 80k, or similar, has been mentioned many times and a reference to a doc also mentioned. Can you tell us exactly how to find the presentation. I have never been able to find it.
How about taking away the corporate jet aircraft until our $120B of debt is retired?
What would T do with the 10 pilots on the payroll? Yes, there are 10 pilots listed in webphone.
Is it just me? It sure seems like the only thing that is important to at&t is layoffs, everything else, including providing decent customer service is taking a back seat! Are we that close to declaring chapter 11, bankruptcy? Never, ever, thought 20 years ago that at&t would be teetering on insolvency. How about taking away the corporate jet aircraft until our $120B of debt is retired? There should be consequences for Stephenson and Stankey for destroying at&t. As it is, they walk away will a clear conscience, blaming the employees for not executing on their acquisition plan! What a joke.
“ July 9th really isn’t a layoff. Most of the affected employees decided to quit.”
I guess they all heard they’d be in the same zip code as you and declined. Are you that guy whose roaches move into houses next door to escape you?
There was 309,050 thousand employees in 2007 now down to 149,900 at start of 2024. Just a small rationalization reduction effort. Everything has been reduced since the SBC incompetent’s took over with the exception, leadership’s stupidity! It’s still in full evidence.

You are right, layoffs will continue, families and communities put into difficult situations. It’s all due to a few narcissistic leaders who have never suffered the consequences of their horrific decisions Hope they enjoy their blood money! We are number 3, we are number 3!
So JS thinks that laying off of people who refused to relocate on their own dime and uproot their family live is a voluntary resignation. Pathetic leader.
I ain't buying it. Some troll gets on here on announces the sky is falling and everyone panics! Fake news, layoffs will continue but numbers will be the same as in past several years. Nothing has changed, it's the same message Stankey has been parroting for years,"no one is safe"!

What a messy place.
July 9 will be the layoff of all layoffs. Geography over function, over performance.
Huge layoff in cybersecurity is coming
We heard that they are building equivalent management structures in India as in the US. Makes it easier for them to cut entire organizations at once.
Huge layoff in cybersecurity is coming. Be ready
80K, you have got to be kidding! That's a reduction of 50K employees. This whole layoff process has become a massive machine. Stankey has no heart, does he realize there are families associated with each and every layoff?
When are we getting our corporate pizza party? That's the only thing we have to look forward to.
The top “unneeded workers” are the grossly overpaid, sociopathic, robber barons in the C suite…along with the complicit board of (mis)directors!

Not a secret and has been relayed in public forums for at least the past 3 years. People have no reason to not know that half the headcount would be cut.
Like clockwork, 3rd week at the end of each month. More money for marketing to use for useless parties and for the c-suite to attend events. At the expense of former valued employees
It turns out the dates on the surplus calendar, which for the most part call for one the 3rd week of each month, does not mean much. They have happened much more frequently than once per month.
How low will T go?
AT&T is now combining the monthly layoff cycles with waves of employees who chose to voluntarily resign rather than relocate.
Anyone have an update on employee numbers? Got to be getting closer to 130k.
Are you volunteering because I feel needed.
Getting rid of unneeded workers. You don't want to have workers around when there isn't enough work.
