No one said anything horrible about people of color or LGBT if you read the post. I like how you twisted things around to fit your social justice warrior narrative though.
A statement is either true or it is not. It’s not a stereotype if it’s true.
So ask yourself, is it true? Is it equal rights with equal pay, unless you factor in a layoff, it that case its not equal risk. The fact that you get so upset, tells me you are uncomfortable with the answer.
Its ok though, you can cancel culture you way to feeling good about it all.

No one mentioned anything about LGBT. Seems like it may have hit a little close to home for you. I can’t help but notice you did not deny the comment of:

Since you threw the LGBT into the mix, I take it you equate the “safe space entitlement”
with them. I take it you also like this benefit and enjoy its comfort like a warm snuggly blanket fully embracing it. When the layoff is all over with, you emerge with a whole hearted, “We made it through the storm guys”, then cautiously look around to gauge everyone’s reaction to see if they bought it.

Equality means accepting both positives and negatives. I am fed up with this diversity and inclusion - you cannot have the cake and eat it. Many careers of young white men were ruined in the past 10y or so because of this sh-t. Let the best win...
Just saying I’m sick of the virtue signaling. My dept is 60% women and they tend to be in higher ranks overall, so statistically I’d be certain we’d more. It’s not HR. It’s just like black history month at our last town hall. Nobody gives a darn. We just want to know who is impacted by re org and when!
