Don't insult the cows by associating them with Intel. They were there long before Intel arrived and will be there long after Intel is gone.

no intel wafer will ever run in ohio. never was going to happen even when they announced it. there is no demand and there never was that could justify the need for these sites. its lunacy. intel can't come close to filling the fabs it already has for the next 5+ yrs.
Fab will never happen now. Maybe sell shell to Samsung or TSMC
No surprise. Every project is like this in Intel: people just give an unreachable deadline, get an award. Then delay it for 1 year and blame others; then delay another year and blame others. After 5 years, still nothing. Make it a new project, get an award again, and delay it. This is how projects go. All are busy and get nothing.
Something has to be done about the cows constantly getting into the Subfab.
It's not sanitary.
Department of Commerce is giving the date of 2030, likely to handle any pushouts like the one that has happened.
btw, not uncommon to have delays in equipping fabs. Plenty of times that fab shells were built when the economy was good, then delayed during a recession or for other lack of demand.
