I am relocating to Serbia. May not make as much money but how refreshing would it be for you guys to get on a call with someone from Serbia that you can actually understand and has a clue on how thing should actually work?

Return to office is happening across corporate America. This is not Atleos or Voyix specific, getting harder to find remote only jobs.

I wasn't asked, I was told get ready to start commuting again. Virtual is no longer an option and return dates are being determined and announced shortly. Not sure I really want this BS any longer.

To the person who commented ‘Incapable of understanding in office work is BETTER at this point for their job security’ if you think that makes your job secure you are definitely deluded or haven’t been here long enough to know how NCR operates. I have had colleagues who worked from the office 5 days a week being escorted out in front of my eyes. When NCR decides your time is up these things don’t matter. People who make these decisions can’t care less where you work from. Everyone is just a number and US employees have been on the hit list for the past 5-6 years. You would never hear of layoffs in Serbia because they pay them peanuts. Plan is to eventually replace all US employees with cheap labor if you don’t need to be based in the US to do your job.

Things won’t stay the same. Once the economy gets better no one gonna stay here. How de moralizing it is to know your team mates in other states will continue to work from home but you are expected to drive 3 hours in ATL traffic. Already started applying and will be out of here as soon as i receive an offer.

They’re not happy paying 40 buck a square foot in office space since not many are there. Funny money within the company dynamics on cost. Yall csuiters just messed up big time. Debold, Hyosung and Toast are passing NCR up. Csuite pay is not inline to company success. Dont think nuti and hayford 6 BILLION combined debt should been award options let alone the millions in salary. Hayford on the president advisor board? Must be a club huh? Another Enron in the making? Oh Job security? Funny comment, that went out the door in the 90s.
Only security is if you have privy or juicy information in a document. Once you’re targeted this document is made a copy and handed over with your face to face meeting with HR. If it goes well, you get check mark in a special box do not layoff. This works best if you have a couple years left till full retirement and dont want deal with all that legal stuff. If you’re younger then go for it.

@1gwp+1s4KG7GD Well if you cant trust your employee to work just as hard virtual than they would in the office maybe its the leadership team that has issue not just a few employees. The amount of complaints on the messages boards in different countries shows both companies are fading. You’re no longer a company people want to have a long career with. You just a first step in it. As one Serbian has said i don't work for ncr because i want to but because i have to. But i guess you get what your willing to pay for.

Replying to: "Love the downvotes from corporate office workers who clearly take advantage of pandemic era work in pajamas from the bedroom.
Incapable of understanding in office work is BETTER at this point for their job security then being remote. But go ahead and be pi---d about “traffic”.

Respectfully,

Job security - REALLY?? I can't remember the last time I heard anyone indicate they felt secure.

The number one thing I always hear come up with NCR (now Atleos) is 'work/life balance'. Seems like a good way for employees to claw back some balance to the 'life' side of the equation by not losing anywhere from 2 to 3 hours a day to traffic. I mean, Atleos does make it so that we can work anywhere in the world if they need to send us somewhere.

Also, how much money does an employee save over time from gas and wear-and-tear on one's vehicle? Seems like an easy way to give a nice 'raise' without the company having to come 'out of pocket' to do it.

All.

Word is everyone will have a timeframe to comply or they will need to 'move on' with no more hiring of 'virtual based employees'.

I mean the level of collaboration HAS to go up with all the Atleos employees finally at GHQ. I mean we do take up 1 and 1/2 whole floors. Teams Calls just work better in the office.

It will not only be HQ related. Even employees from other locations will be requested to go to office as I understood. Where they cannot force they will lay off. Nothing to do with performance. Serbia included.

As someones whole team as well as other teams in a us support center went virtual in 2007. i can tell their were no issues. We were planned to moved to COE in peachtree city eventually. But company feedback back in 2010 was why waste money when the teams are meeting and exceeding their metrics. Now we know why, they changed their plans. as in 2016 it was moved to Serbia. I will say i averaged doing more work at home than in the office.

Back to office, as it should be. Ask yourselves if your job can be fully remote why NCR would not immediately move it to Serbia.

There will be a mass exodus due to this new policy. Employees do not want to be stuck in ATL traffic for hours.
