It is time to tell whomever reads these annual surveys exactly what I think.

@7fgz+1otJPxvB Money talks and that stock price is in the gutter of course during covid everything was UP UP UP. Itsa funny how bank "professionals" fail to differentiate between the bottom line and their personal feelings.
Vote data is taken in aggregate - the reason behind the single sign on is that so people cannot take the same survey twice, simply a control point.
My focus is really on Jane.
She cared about us during the pandemic but now she doesn't seem to care as much.
Keeping employees happy is part of her well paid job.
My boss is a new boss and has a level of insecurity, takes ideas for his/her own, and holds me back because it took them a long time to move up in the company. I really don't know what to do. However, I did NOT mention any of this on the stupid survey which would be a chopping block sentence for sure.
The email SPAM everyday to fill the survey is kind of crazy. The whole thing, along with other stuff, may push people to make a decision about staying vs leaving. Sad that they may use the survey to layoff another group of folks. Competitors are cutting again too so of course this company will follow suit.
How is the survey anonymous if your managers know if you did or did not complete it? You know darn well they see what’s written, as well as all the higher-ups
Im in a BAU group so we all get beaten into submission. I was on a Zoom today and they showed the revenue generating businesses participation in the survey, and it was like 20%. Most of them are deleting it, and I seriously doubt anyone will say a word to them.
I gave my manager "Strongly Agree" on everything, but I gave Senior Leadership "Disagree." Ive calculated my severance, and if they want to lay me off I'll gladly take my check and have a nice rest of 2023. I don't GAF.
It's sad that your manager will contact you if you haven't taken the survey. It's all a bunch of pointless BS.
They actually let your manager know that you did not do the survey. Last year, my manager emailed me to please take 5 minutes to complete the survey, as he was made aware that I had not done it. Seriously?
Yes. They are really pushing the survey hard right now. Numerous emails from different higher ups and groups to do VOE. Should I give them my opinion and get singled out even more because I already do not sing Kumbaya to whatever they say & do? Nah. I'll keep my opinions to myself and watch as karma bites these folks in the bottom.
And there will be job actions later this month after the deadline for VOE submissions
Sometimes I wonder if HR posts some of these questions/comments to see the reactions. For some reason this comment seems planted. I could be wrong.
@1gfw+1otJPxvB I agree and why did the promote all of those MDs recently then cut expenses. It all makes 100% no sense. I'm just going to do my job and keep quiet. I've worked for the company for a while now. I have friends who are more involved in stuff and I don't understand how they can still stand to do so. Tbh there's a lot I don't understand about what's going on recently.
VOE surveys are just like any of their other surveys and online voting/Q&A system. Nothing is anonymous like the other posters said. I think most people will either fudge things on the surveys or ignore it since it's optional.
Nothing is anonymous. If they want to find you, they will find you. Notice how everyone gets a different link? Notice how you have to single sign on to get to the VOE page? Of course its not anonymous!
I too mark everything at least satisfactory which is no lie, really. Same thing for my exit interview when I have it
The voe isn’t anonymous?
I don't bother taking them. They're not anonymous. You say what you really want to say, they can find out who you are, and you're outta there.
I'm at the point that I dont care. Its going to be zeros up and down and in the comments section, I will be naming names of awful senior leadership. They've run this org into the ground with forced expense cuts meanwhile useless boot lickers get MD promotions.
I lie every year on mine and mark everything in favor of my manager in fear of retaliation. Im sure there are more people out there who do the same.
