Great to see final confirmation of the end! Any word when their last day is?

@1fzc+1dOudClW Of course they are not closing all the stores now. OP is just a basement dwelling troll, posting yet another piece of fake news. That should be obvious by the various comments below.

The article is misleading. Not all stores are closing by the end of the year. It actually states that there will be six Kmarts left in the US by the end of the year, which there are now, plus the six outside the US. So basically it tells us nothing, that we don't already know. Except that it appears all 12 remaining Kmarts will make it to 2022.

OP, what is wrong with you? Why the h3ll are you posting this absolute garbage? The article clearly doesn't state all the stores are closing. Why do you troll like this? Your parents don't have a TV in their basement? Watch the game. Stop trolling with this invented garbage, clown!

I wonder about that too. If you want to keep a few 'premier' stores open, wouldn't you choose places like Thornton CO, Woodfield Mall, Brooklyn, Astor Place, and Boyle Heights? All of which they have closed.

Well, regardless of 'all closing vs. all but 6' and other reasons to bicker, I find the reference to some yoke at Transformco talking about their "Premiere" stores as somewhat hilarious. What is a Premiere Sears or Kmart? One where by some miracle all the toilets still flush?

Or is "Premiere" taken from the Lampert Pocket Dictionary of Lies? Same place to find the definition of "Transformation" or "Keeping 400+ stores open and all the employees to run them" or "members not customers" or "decent human being".

After looking thru this Lampert dictionary, that last term is yet to be found.

The CNN Business story at https://www.cnn.com/2021/11/09/business/kmart-store-closings/index.html also does not say that all stores are closing.
