Two more of my colleagues left. It's worrying how many people are leaving. Those who are still here are seriously considering other options. Given all this, I don't understand why anyone thinks there could be layoffs? How many of your colleagues have left lately?

The new people they hire in operations are just warm bodies. SG does not nor can they pay for quality talent.
@1fpt, 'if they leave, the place will fall apart'
Yes - it is worrying. I've worked at SG for awhile now and the long term experienced personnel are long gone. Much of the operations staff in place is the type that works on base level issues and hands off complex issues; it's getting to where there's no one to hand off those kinds of issues.
Sungard doesnt care about you ... they dont care about their customers ... are you new around there
Any of the top leadership positions could be considered 'fluff' at this point. It's the direct managers and the the actual "doers" getting everything done. Same goes for anyone in alleged "product" positions. Go ahead and ditch the ones who got us in this mess. I don't think anyone will miss them.
People leaving on their own terms is still not enough to stem revenue loss.
Everyone is leaving. There are a couple of people I know and work with that are linchpins and if they leave, the place will fall apart. It's a race to get out faster than the next.
