OK, someone explain this one to me, as I'm perplexed. So just now, Oct. 3, there is a new listing on the other Bronx store (about 3 miles from the closing one) for customer service help:

Um, the closing Bronx store ends TODAY. A sh!t ton of people are about to be laid off from there. Why don't they just transfer a few of them to the other Bronx store nearby, instead of hiring new people? Obviously they won't be able to absorb all the laid off employees, but at least take as many as needed to fill the openings at the other Bronx store instead of just hiring new people off the street when a whole store's worth of people just got Fired from a closing store 3 miles away.
What are they even thinking?
