Why do we allow contractors to be remote.

What has been said above is true and because there is different tax laws surrounding contractors and they don’t have to give the same benefits. It’s yet another way Fiserv can scr3w people over. Don’t be a contractor for this company that doesn’t care about people or following rules. They just want to put more money on Franks pocket.
Here is the catch- if they work remote, their vendor company gets 10% pay cut on their rate.
@1fod+1p6dWKSE...bingo!!! Contractors do not count towards headcount/tax breaks. Also FTEs can work remote but only on Saturday's, Sundays', and Holiday's.
I believe contractors don’t count for the tax breaks in NJ and Nebraska. Only FTE’s of fiserv. So they don’t want to take up space in the already over crowded sites.
Most contractors have to be in the office five days a week. There are some roles (cloud architect) where you will never convince them to come into an office.
Because they want all of you to be contractors. Employees are liabilities.
Who's we, Kemosabe?
Good luck finding a contractor willing to work 100% in office! That’s your answer.
Isn't that million dollar question!
