More jobs moving out of US

There will be small targeted layoffs soon. All part of a plan that has been in place for a while.

@fwq ..... there is no second fab in Malta. GF was just holding that carrot out there to get Chips Bill money. Now that they got their scraps of chip bill money, they will use that so the execs can line their pockets more and never build another fab in Malta!!!!! What a sh*t hole GF has become with sc-mbag leaders.

When there are paying customers for the wafers it’ll produce, so hinges on market recovery and new business, hence the focus on tech transfers .

Nothing in the linked article is about US layoffs… try reading next time.

Singapore work to India is no surprise either to anyone who has been paying attention to GFES.

I’m sure they are as awesome-(sarcasm), as Infosys or Tata Consultants!

With all due respect for Indian colleagues, GF can not operate one day without them; the Indian team did not perform well from inception and that's understandable. There was not any Fab-based company there, GF is training them to become good employees of TowerJazz and other fabs.
