Does that mean that layoffs are guaranteed? It seems like a lose/lose situation whichever way it goes.

It won't hurt them. Genpact will train their people even if they get none of CDKs. Contingencies are built in with the people staying long enough to get it up and running then getting severance. Best advice is to just quit asap either way
