Only 20 Kmart master list

I normally do not post new lists unless they are changes to it (which there have not been yet, since my prior one). But since someone keeps spamming the wrong information, here again, is the 20 Kmart master command list. As always, the ever popular statistics section remains, as well as pharmacy status for the few remaining Kmarts that have pharmacies. Only the locations with pharmacies are marked with "P".

Few housekeeping notes. Someone will invariably yammer about Brooklyn, so I'll repeat for the 10,000th Time, that I don't include it because it's NOT a full-line standalone store. Instead, it is a department within an existing Sears, with merely a Hourly department manager overseeing that particular department of a Sears store. Only full-line, standalone Kmarts are included here.
South Lake Tahoe is purposely spelled that way as a joke, for the 2000th Time. I like Tacos so I spell it South Lake Tahoe, hahaha. 😉😉😆😆😁😁🌮🌮🌮🌮

My map has been expanded to now include the territorial stores as well, color coded as follows:
Blue, non-pharmacy stateside stores.
Yellow, statesides with pharmacies.
Green, territorials with pharmacies.
Red, ditto, without pharmacies.

Looking forward to some more closings soon, here are the current 20 not closed or closing:

We are now at 20 Kmarts total, 14 of which are in the US. I have changed my map to reflect this as well:

California

Freedom -P
Grass Valley -P
South Lake Taco (LOL)
Florida

Key West
Miami
Michigan

Marshall -P
Montana

Hamilton
New Jersey

Avenel
West Wood
New York

Bridgehampton
Bronx
Bronx -P
NY -P
White Plains
Territories:
Guam

Tamuning, GU -P
Puerto Rico

Hato Rey -P
USVI

St. Croix -P
St. Croix
St. Thomas -P
St. Thomas
Statistics: Kmart absent in 44 states. 2 states, (both starting with "M") MI, MT, have only 1 each. There are 14 Kmarts in US States total. Of those in the US, 5, marked with letter "P", have pharmacies as well as 4 more pharmacies in the territories, also marked with letter "P".
Puerto Rico has 1 Kmart, USVI has 4, Guam has 1, so 6 total stores outside of the US. 20 total Kmarts left as of now that are not closed or closing.
States with more than 1 Kmart:
CA: 3
FL: 2
NJ: 2
NY: 5

Again, this is the master command list. As explained in the master command list above, South Lake Taco is a joke, and it is a play on South Lake Tahoe. Only a complete ignorant person couldn't deduce that, unless they are just grandstanding and being obtuse. Get over it. He probably calls the old SUV, a Chevy Taco. Figure it out. He literally explained it above! This is the official list, and I'm thankful to the OP for maintaining it since 2019, because Eddie sure doesn't. Thanks for maintaining this empire, OP. It's all you......

Blah, blah, blah.......

For as long as you keep making grammatical corrections, we will continue to purposely make grammatical errors. It’s fun pushing your buttons. Some people have a very low tolerance. LOL

@3jai Until such time the post meets journalistic standards, we will continue to call out the errors. Fact: there is no such city/town called South Lake Taco, in the state of California nor is one named West Wood in New Jersey. That makes it incorrect. Period. Full stop. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200

Nothing is incorrect here, and South Lake Taco was explained in detail above by the OP. Stop grandstanding, being willfully obtuse, and pretending not to Know why he wrote it. The reason is explained above.

List all wrong... you have incorrect towns in the wrong states, and what is "West Wood", and "South Lake Taco?" Those don't even exist/make sense. All wrong.

Look at his list. He has HAMILTON listed under MONTANA, not NEW JERSEY!.

Under NJ, there is only AVENEL & WESTWOOD.

Hamilton NJ has been closed for almost 2 years.

  • A grammatical error was pointed out to me below. I wrote "unless THEY are changes to it", when I should have written "unless THERE are changes to it". Changes, being plural, not singular.

Thanks for pointing that out to me, and to the person who did it, enjoy your thumbs up vote. And once again, LMJ Publications sincerely regrets the error.

Regarding the other points, The Tahoe spelling, as well as my non-inclusion of the "Brooklyn DEPARTMENT" of Sears, are plainly specified in the original post. Taco is a joke, and my list is only of full-line, standalone Kmarts. Not "departments of other existing stores". Full stop.

In regards to the grammatical mistake, again, we here at LMJ Publications, Inc., sincerely regret it and appreciate our readers bringing it to the attention of our editorial staff. Regards.

Brooklyn is not a full line Kmart, and he explained that above, along with why he spells Tahoe that way. No need to grandstand. The explanations were clearly printed and explained above. There are only 20, full-line, standalone Kmart stores (excluding Australian Kmarts which are unrelated)

Westwood New Jersey and South Lake Tahoe California are misspelled, Brooklyn Kmart missing. Cannot trust this list. Twenty-one Kmarts.

Brooklyn is a KMart and a Sears. What harm will it do to you by counting Brooklyn’s KMart?

Pretty sure Westwood is only one word not two.
