Until the upper management/CEOs have more diversity in the ranks of any company it will always be just a fake show for the stock holders.
I think the bonus programs will end soon. Incentives to push productivity by mitigating unsafe acts are going to end.
@hsw For those of you whining about DEI…
Practically every Boeing executive is Caucasian. Just putting that out there.
This is where you tell us how this is totally different, we’re not being objective, bla, bla…
@1eya Boeing chose the supplier and failed to apply adequate quality controls to the supplier output.
Boeing management also made the decision to outsource as a cost-cutting measure.
Boeing owns this.
Stay mad.
Companies are 100% responsible for their products whether they done by the company or a supplier...so lame excuse...
If you actually read the article it clearly says that the holes were drilled by a supplier not Boeing.
Boeing says they won't be forecasting 2024 Financials so they can work on Quality... I call BS. Financials will be absolutely dismal this year because of so many failed projects and negative profit airplane manufacturing and Boeing doesn't want to talk about this given how it would negatively affect stock price with many executives looking to bail out with golden parachutes. And if a company can't maintain both Quality and Financials, they shouldn't be in business.
I see the FAA had 20 inspectors in Renton. They were always there Boeing just had the managers take them out of their pockets. Boeing owns the FAA and if you think unwise you are out of touch with reality. That’s the reason Boeing moved to the D.C area Chicago was to hard to carry the large bags of money to give the politicians.
How will thiss effect my bonus?!
