Restructuring

What’s the new restructured stores going to look like?
No more Joe Boxer or Everlast brands. They will be out before the end of February.

It's cute how you think that restructuring means something about remodeling or stocking stores. Next month they will be restructuring how they staff the stores. Probably getting rid of at least one management position and some obsolete fulltime positions in many stores.

Who cares? Close them all down, they are obsolete and unnecessary in 2021. It's like a company making VCR's and fax machines, trying to convince themselves that they are somehow relevant. If the entire Sears name disappeared Tomorrow, 99.99999% of the human race wouldn't care less.

Can you give names of the hometown stores selling unauthorized product? I plan on reporting them.

Thanks for the update on Hometown. That sounds similar to the way Sears.com is being stocked with much more Marketplace seller items than of Sears own items these days.

Hometown stores are in really bad shape. TransformCo's requirement is that Hometowns keep their models on the floor unable to sell them, otherwise they won't ship. Because of the "EZ" ordering system, customers don't receive product for months. Everything is in shambles. Hometowns have resorted to stocking stores with products not ordered from Sears, because it's the only way to survive. There are other suppliers with their sh– together than aren't Sears, and the ones that will survive will transition as soon as the franchise agreement ends. Most have transitioned already.

How many of these appliances are reserved for Hometown?

My store recently received back the blue, sears loss prevention t-shirts. Anyone else selling these in their store?

Sears branded appliances? Those should compete nicely against Speed Queen.

I work at Distribution Center and we are getting thousands of sears appliances. We have 100 trailers waiting to be unloaded a lot overtime. I think a surprise is coming from sears

The look of the restructured stores will be wholely dependent on which retailers move into these stores after the remaining Sears and KMart stores liquidate and move out.

In other words, the only restructuring going on will be the transition of the real estate to new owners and tenants.

Given what's been happening for the last 15 years, the latest restructuring will result in new and astonishingly stupid ways for Eddie Lampert to lose money in ways that have never been imagined.

What excitement is there to be had? There are less stores total than Sears announced at a single go during the 2019 Holiday season. Going from 425 to substantially less than 100 while losing hundreds of millions a month is just the ESL m.o.

Give me a break, man that was a cool 80s show. Speaking of the 80s, people have been saying they are done way back then. Yet, they are still in operation.

Give me a break. Kmart, nor Sears is coming back. No one cares about them anymore. They're done.

I think they will remodel the existing stores and make them more modern looking than Target

Restructured stores? They’re all going to close for good. There is no restructuring beyond the bs he fed the courts to get the bankruptcy buyout ruling.
