Lean teams expect layoffs

The teams at commscope is very lean. Just curious if commscope puts this into consideration when laying off employees.

I’m not a fan but any means, but Mingle is not that stupid to trade outside the open window or not push through the appropriate internal channels.

Anyway, the stock has hit a new 52 week low each day last week and looking to continue the same price action this week with it currently set to open at $5.11.

Saw the following on social media:

"Noneya@Noneya80280447

@FTCgoing to investigate Robyn Mingle at Commscope Inc for buying $350k of stock right before the company entertained NC governor @RoyCooperNC and US reps for possible contract talks......? I think it should"

Is there any truth to this allegation?
If there is, then perhaps HR is way to busy to get around to laying off the few remaining contributors.

Lean? On most email distributions only half the folk tops could actually turn their hands to doing something useful. The rest are seat warmers, spreadsheet wranglers and other hangers on

"No point laying folks off only to discover later on that they do not have staffs with the skills-sets required to develop the products which the market is crying out for."

I dont think that is how they see it. Most of the products ive worked on recently resource has been allocated on grounds of availability and not skill set. Its stressful for the person allocated the work they are not suited to and Involves the rest of the team supporting them. perhaps management should get to know their staff better and understand their interests and skill.

I think CS management have learnt to match team composition against the skills-sets required to deliver the products which customers require before making layoff decisions.
