Interview with Andrew

"First, let me emphasize that there is a lot to be confident and excited about when working with 2U."

Or just everyone who is tired of the conservative bs-machine making its way on these boards. Just like SVB, the reason wasn’t DEI. In SVB’s case it was poor financial decisions (purchasing mortgage backed securities, U.S. Treasury bonds and other investments at low interest rates, not hedging with other investments, then getting ki-led on the rise in interest rates.)
Same at 2U. A business model that doesn’t work anymore (universities can do everything that 2u does for cheaper on their own nowadays), coupled with poor investment decisions (see edx for $800M).
So yeah, you’ll get downvoted back to Fox News because what you’re saying just doesn’t make sense when we have facts.

@1dzf+1rdlVMa7 Uh oh. You mentioned DEI. How dare you. There is one person who is opening up incognito screens like mad to down vote you. They know you are right and they do not want any one to know thats why they are still at 2tor

Chip was asleep at the wheel, overly focused on BS like DEI, and financially reckless, but there is still a good company that is salvageable with guys like Paul and Andrew who are working hard to get things back on track.

Can’t say whether it will continue or not- but will say I’m newer to Andrew and have already seen way more action and follow through on commitments from him in one month than I saw in Chip for over 5 years. I, too, have been and will remain skeptical- but I am moving toward skeptically optimistic based on early actions. There is action behind the talk, so far.

I used to really like this publication but it’s gross that they publish highly editorialized fluffy propaganda.

Quick reminder he has no work experience outside of 2U and learned everything he knows from Chip.

Saying this guy is someone with “deep integrity” invalidates the entire thing. No need to read further… it’s a targeted propaganda piece, not journalism.
