The 130 Sears Outlets are rebranding by the end of April. I guess the stock is no longer coming from Sears as all the stores barely have enough to sell themselves and it seems most Sears are selling whatever they can get their hands on.

Most of the scratch and dent or recertified appliances have been coming from retailers other than Sears for a long time now.
New appliances will not be sourced through Sears or have Sears delivery.

The Sears Outlets are going to become American Freight - Appliance, Furniture, Mattress.
From what I've read, it sounds like a rent-to-own business model.
The sale happened last October, but the buyer is only this spring getting around to stripping the Sears name off the outlet stores and combining them with the American Freight chain that they already owned.
Also, according to this article, they are dropping lawn, garden, and tools in order to make room for furniture and mattresses.

Sears sold off these Sears Outlet stores to Liberty Tax. They are different from Sears Hometown stores, which are often franchises, and which Sears still owns.
So they are Sears except they are not Sears in name...okay....seems like they want to ditch the name in a small hope that it will help sales. Probably won't though.
So I'm guessing these are the stores that were franchised?
