Same old sh–. Get the jump on the government and everyone else to keep their numbers up and get their bonuses, cancel raises already given for 2019. Now furloughs. They care about one thing and one thing only! The almighty dollar. Not employees or their family’s.

I sure wish every Honeywell Employee would call in sick for the next few days. The Extremely GREEDY Company would learn who really makes the Company work.

There will be layoffs for sure , plant closures and CORPORATE LEADERSHIP WILL CONTINUE TO GET BONUSES. Honeywell leadership buys into the only sacrifice is made by the worker bees. Yes sadly those paid the least by this blood s—ing life s—ing company.

LAYOFFS ARE A CHEAP THRILL STARTED BY BOSSIDY YEARS AGO AND HONEYWELL HAS FULLY ASCRIBED. THEY DO NOT VALUE WORKERS AND LONGEVITY. HONEYWELL HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SET THE STANDARDS BY KEEPING PEOPLE EMPLOYED AND COMPANY HEALTHY NOW AND IN THE FUTURE BUT ALWAYS CHOOSES SHORT TERM PROFIT OVER PEOPLE. DISGUSTING AND IMMORAL. Thank God all companies do not operate the way they do or America would fail.

Great. I can just imagine how productive the week on will be...
How does unemployment with no waiting period work for this? Re-apply every other week?

Latest from Honeywell Tempe - Well, we were just put on mandatory furloughs. Work one week than off 1 week. They are splitting between 2 colored teams that they will create. Green teams and White teams starting March 30. We dont know what teams we are on yet. This is through Q2 with no decision on Q3 and Q4. I am sure there will probably be a reduction in force coming sooner than later!😒 They took away our bonuses they gave us now this! This is for Honeywell worldwide except site making N95 mask and safety glasses in Rhode Island. People are now worried about health benefits.

Can confirm personally that Honeywell has sc-apped annual and off cycle raises for forseeable future. Including but not limited to ones already given. They claim it's a way to stop from having to lay off...however given their track record of screwing employees...doubtful. (what's a profit sharing?)

Rumors are flying that the H has now pulled back 2020 raises due to covid19. Why? Because they can.

Leadership is in it for themselves. Use the company to get cash. Get rid of people and spend $ on stock buybacks. There is a reduction in ISC/procurement in the works right now. The top guys think all transactions should be automated. Why do we have people typing on keyboards? They love to say BOT.

HBT thrives from bleeding existing customer base, which is dwindling away. Clueless management that only pushes for more revenue/profit month to month. No long term vision, no plans. Many long term employees jumping ship. Best thing that could happen for those left would be to sell the business. Only employees left are long term and ‘riding it out’ or those that would completely fail elsewhere.

Another 20% rif in Honeywell UOP Antwerp office today.

People rounded up and the ones being fired were escorted away in front of the others. True hunger games style.

Amazing question. Layoffs have, are, and will continue! Certain arms of the business will be allowed to rot off while we jump in bed with Microsoft and others. Outsourcing lower cost countries will continue. #madeinamerica

The CEO demands a 1% cost takeout out of every SBU every year aka “The Power of One”. It doesn’t take an MBA to figure out the most effective cost actions to achieve this mandate.

Some of the higher managers have in the past been pretty candid that there will be pretty much no new hiring in "developed countries", so I guess there is a target on any well paid R&D positions in the US.

There has been, there is now, and there will always be layoffs occurring at Honeywell. In short, its the driving force in this corporation.
