Thread regarding Disney layoffs

Finally some good news

I've said it before and I'll say it once again, we are severely understaffed at parks and we need more people. Without them, customer service is suffering. Hearing that Disney plans to hire 13,000 Cast Members is more than welcome and for once the right move from those on top. This will undoubtedly help improve service.

Yes, the park cast members, including management, are disgusting, rude and not helpful! I just went there, and, just yuck! And, the parks are not near are sparkly clean and fresh as pre-Covid and pre-ESG.

They don't need more people, they need the existing people to understand customer service

@1cvi+1lYpQT21 “desperate” is exactly the correct word. For the first time in history Disney has more people roasting them than actually consuming their content.

@smi+1lYpQT21 a week ago I might've disagreed but disney hiring jack black and lizzo (lol) in a desperate attempt to get eyeballs back on the mandalorian demonstrates how vastly out of touch they are with modern society.

The smartest thing disney could do for sustainability is take the mgm route and focus on parks, resorts, and gambling. Their trust and influence in media has been irrevocably destroyed.
