So long Micron, was a crazy 18 years of ups and downs, finally got hit by one of these rounds of layoffs after surviving so many. At least the severence package is pretty nice!

If you search on Linkedin, "Micron", go to "post" filter by 24hrs and sort by recent...you can see some layoff post from Micron
@1cea+1l4fKW9A, yes that's kinda sad. The ones who don't mind leaving are not getting laid off. Those with many commitments got laid off. The company saved money on both counts after all. By squeezing those remaining ones. Very smart move
what I think is a bit sad is that I'm familiar with maybe 10-12 people "of a certain age and tenure" who would have jumped at the chance to leave (aka retire) if only they were given an enticement. The unfortunate is these folks will already be voluntarily leaving anyway in the next 12 months, but who knows if their departure would have saved another persons role -- I'm doubtful.,
Where the he-l are everyone seeing these posts on linkedin? I searched micron, micron layoffs, etc.. and I found nothing
