Thread regarding Adidas layoffs

Be careful what you say here

I brought up a concern about pay differences and suddenly everything changed. Conversations got colder, expectations shifted, and the tone turned noticeably different. It didn't take me long to realize that speaking up isn’t actually welcomed. Even small interactions have become awkward after that. Needless to say, I've learned my lesson. Staying quiet is safer than risking a target on your back.

It’s interesting to see the difference in experience on these posts. I’ve been here for 4 years coming from Nike, which was and is a sh-tshow, and I absolutely love working at adi.

@em so true!
Please don’t ever take leadership at adidas as the target to reach! Join a company where leaders inspire you.

Or join the old men’s leadership team at adidas with the token female HR leader!

@1c9 Bjorn is that you?

OP, you are allowed to stay at your job even though you are not 100% happy.

At the end of the day it’s just a job. Or is it now a cult where everyone just happily agrees with whatever the boss says?

If you're so frustrated, maybe the question should rather be why you're still here?
Not meaning to be rude, but honestly, there are other companies

Be ready to be reassigned under the disguise of restructuring or business need. They cannot stand principled ones, only want yes men. If I were you, I would leave. Adidas is the worst environment and the worst ever leadership (I don’t call them leaders, they are only filling the position, they have zero leadership qualities)
