@1eds I've never heard of severance being offered if the person gets pushed out because of performance issues. Severance is for lay-off situations.
My colleague was just put on a pip after a very very very long time, and a very successful career working for J&J. Does anyone know if severance is a likely outcome for a pip.

JNJ is offshoring USA jobs to the Philippines, India, and Bogota. That's the gist of their restructuring. The severance at two weeks for every year in this economy, is appreciated but weak. Spoken by someone affected in Medtech- finance.
Why are specific individuals being targeted with unfair year end reviews without evidence and being allowed to stick. Doesn't feel safe here and are we targeting specific groups.
