There are better employers out there. I know no company is perfect but not many can be worse than this place.

@azh+1o8jjU34 For many people, its more important to spend the 50+ hours a week working for and with people who possess an honest core and genuinely care about you as a person first and foremost. The business chaos may always exist, and that grass may not greener. There are not many leaders left in UHG who possess and honest and authentic core. If you find one, do everything you can to work for them.

Expanding on @1buo+1o8jjU34, keep in mind that Optum/UHG experience is extremely attractive to a lot of employers adjacent to healthcare. Also note that Optum seems to systematically down rank employee titles against the standards used most place when comparing assigned duties. When describing your work history in your CV/resume, always use the industry standard titles when describing your role, not necessarily the title you were assigned.

Run away from Sir Andrew Witty, he is POS greedy S-B. No empathy for the common worker just $$$$$ hungry MOF!!!
I left this year and found a much better place. Keep accepting that Optum paycheck OP while you look for something better. It may take a little longer than it used to, but stick with it, it's worth it.

You got to take care of the grass and it will turn green. Just need to fertilize the grass. I found greener pastures after leaving optum. Making more money and not being a slave. Where you at!!!!
