@1cps ha ha , just last week company sent out message saying “ restructuring is now complete “ . one week later , more redundancies .
More key employees notified today, major concerns being raised on the impact to core products.
Agree this is another significant restructure, many teams and knowledgeable people impacted!
@1be4 Basically every single product unit within the former MCS BU is being hit. Cost-reduction at is maximun, I'm not sure how they will survive after this.... every day you hear about 2-3 more people being let go
@1b35 Could you share more information?
reorg is massive, many affected
NT has left the building and groups are being merged. Inevitable restructuring occurring.
NT? The technological pied piper gone?
@17m6 Nick has been shuffled off has he?
Failed at everything…

Where has NT gone?
Why has NT gone?
sounds pretty anti-semitic, so yeah
@11v7 Back on the research park? It'll be Stoneham next!
Well, the Chilworth office that has replaced the CF office is pretty unusable. It only has 3 meeting rooms and managers are obsessed with getting what remains of the workforce to come in on the same day. On that day, what regularly happens is managers hold 1:2:1s throughout the day in two of those meeting rooms (leaving only the large meeting room available which is quite often booked for sales or HR meetings). Quite frankly, having this office is a joke. It might be useful for new starters but guess what, we haven’t recruited anyone new for years now. I suspect that I’m not alone in that I’m too expensive to layoff (yet); I’m too old to look for alternative employment; hence, like everyone else I’m just milking this job for as long as I can before I retire. I just don’t give a *u-k anymore…
I am hoping that Synamedia is making a comeback…I notice lots of attendance at trade shows maybe with less people than in the past but still looks positive from the outside
@st so did you leave? Now that you're gone, are you brave enough to give yourself a name?
Where is everyone???!!... Laid off!
It's dead Jim
Only customers doing any business with Synamedia are the ones who can't do otherwise. It's behind massively in tech compared to every other competitor, and can't compete on price. How long till your PE backers throw in the towel?
The CF office once had 600 people working in it. Today’ it stands at 43. The office that’s opening has 16 desks .
Truly pathetic
@st So leave. But good luck finding a good tech company that doesn't have links to Israel.
It's hard to read about starving children being ki-led by Israeli strikes in Gaza and at the same time work for a company with deep roots in Israel. Internally, no one says anything and of course, speaking out against this is just antisemitic.
It's going to be 267 soon.
Almost everyone has left or been fired… 95% have gone. Nobody cares about this company anymore.

Most of the people who posted here have now moved on I imagine. I check here every now and again for any gossip, but there isn't much these days!
