In the coming days you'll see all the MDs and Ds in your department heading out for their secret Xmas lunch in a top restaurant, all on the company card.

The last Xmas party in my department was in 2001, what rock are you living under?

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus... well there is if you are Tech staff in Texas.

Since Citi is too mean to fund a Christmas Party (whoops, I mean an End-of-Year Party – we wouldn’t want to say the C word), the generous folks at Red Hat are stepping in to host one for all us underprivileged Citi tech staff in Texas. 🎅🎄

One has to wonder how this aligns with the Gifts policy.?
Then again, like many policies, it might just be there to create the illusion of ethical operations.

Give y'all vendors a nudge and get your begging bowl out.

What about potluck? That's what other groups do.

Risk? You dont deserve a Xmas party. You aren't making any money, just a drain. Get back to work boy! HR is going to have a throw down. Ho----s and blow for all

I wouldnt go, even if it took place. I cannot pretend to act like everything is okay with the potential to know that in the following weeks, the director i has having small talk with could toss me out of the company with a layoff. I rather remain neutral
