The "real" Airbus layoffs have not started yet. Be pacient.... Wait a few more weeks. Thousands of Airbus workers are going home soon. All before June first 2020.
Airbus layoff is in there defense division and is due to space market stagnation and delay on defense contracts. NOT due to covid-19. Please inclue all information.

No layoffs yet, I work at the Everett plant. There aren't even any whispers of layoffs, we still have aircraft to build. There has been a few employees diagnosed with Covid19 and they and everyone they were in close contact with are quarantined and the work area is sterilized. We keep on trucking at Boeing. Roll the next crew in and get the job done. Even if they do consider layoffs, we as 751 IAM Union members get a 90 day notice...… so it's not like you get notice on Friday and your homeless on Monday.

Look at the cruise ship situation, only one person had when they got on the ship. 500 more people got affected out of 2,000 or so that was on the cruise ship.
